Sew Steady is a great company to work with. The insert I received was just a little to big in the front of the machine making it difficult to reach comfortably while sewing. I contacted the company and they remade the insert to my specifications. Normally it would just be a standard insert, but my cabinet is over 40 years old. It's perfect. You will be extremely pleased with Sew Steady for their product and their fantastic customer service!

I am so thrilled with my Sew Steady table insert! It arrived just under 3wks. It fits perfectly in my Arrow Gidget 2 portable table around my Bernina 570QE. I plan to use it for retreats and as a backup from my main machine. I couldn't be happier!

I bought a new to me table from a friend that is older and my machine just fit the space. I was really worried the insert wasn't going to fit. I didn't even open the package till hours later. :) I fit and it is AMAZING! I love it so much! I just orderd another for a different machine and table. Can't wait to get that one!
What a perfect fit! The insert fits better than the original. Plus, it's a higher quality material. I love it! I definitely recommend either replacing your worn out insert or adding one to your sewing machine table.

the corner around the sewing machine has no support under it, so it can dip if you put too much pressure on it

Replacement to old Tracy’s table black insert that was brittle with age and broke. I prefer this clear insert to see things that slip underneath- like my seam ripper. The fit was perfect just knowing the table brand (unsure of the table model) as it was given to me).
First insert didn’t fit but Sewing Parts Online contacted Sew Steady and they remade the insert. The second insert fit perfectly. Wonderful caring customer service, highly recommend!

Found an older sewing cabinet that didnt include any stickers so o received the insert as a gift for Christmas, fots perfectly!
I had to adjust the height of the stop mechanism for the machine and once that was done everything works well. I like the clear plastic which allows me to see into the bobbin area easily.

I needed a solid surface so I can use my sewing cabinet as a desk. I submitted a request with measurements and it fits perfectly. Keep in mind these are special cut and will take a little bit to get it to you. But well worth it!!!!

Could not be more impressed with my new acrylic insert! The old one was broken and not usable. The cabinet is no longer being made or my machine. I sent measurements and answered questions. This was custom made for me. Fits like a glove!

My insert table works great, but I don’t understand why it doesn’t go all the way to the end and sit on the support lip near the screen in front or the support in the rear near the plugs. I have an Epic 2. Anyone else have the same question?

I ordered the insert for my new Janome and it is a perfect fit!
We needed a sturdy, portable sewing table to add to sewing area. This machine is used primarily for bag making and is not used often. This table and the clear table insert were PERFECT addition to our needs.
I love that after over 50 years of sewing I finally can sew on a level table! As you can see (hopefully) in the photo, it needs to be cut just a bit to fit perfectly. It's OK but just not cut to fit perfectly.
First, let me start by saying that the customer service is exceptional between Sewing Parts and Sew Ready. However, the insert did not fit my sewing machine or sewing table snuggly. And I paid about $160 for the insert. But I did not want to go through the process of returning it and getting it remade since I’d already waited so long for the insert to come. I ordered in October and got it in December. It works enough that I’m able to use it for my sewing projects. And this probably comes down to sewing table measurement as I did not fully remember the brand of my table. I’m sure if the insert fit properly it would be a better experience. I deducted 2 stars for the time it took for delivery and the insert not fitting as well I had hoped it would after waiting so long and spending the amount on it that I did.
The inset fits the cabinet and machine fine BUT the excess space is on the back rather than the front thus putting the sewing machine needle only 7 inches from the back and 12 plus inches from the front. That’s too far away for comfortable sewing.
As you can see it is a perfect fit. I love my insert, it makes sewing so much easier. Love love love it!!
