In the summer of 1997, George and Terri opened a small vacuum and sewing supply store in Dickson Tennessee. Their primary focus was to provide good old fashioned service with a smile while having unbeatable prices and post sale support. As the retail store continued to grow, George, Terri & Jeremy decided to expand their product offering online. Sewing Parts Online (SPO) was born in late 2008, operating out of the back of their retail store. The company experienced remarkable growth, and started hiring people to help fulfill the orders coming in and provide the old fashioned service that they continued to strive for. Although initially SPO was focused on machine parts, we've since expanded our product lines to include thread, fabric and notions.
In 2012, SPO started providing free online videos to teach the sewing community new techniques, how to use every presser foot available and just recently completed a 20 episode beginners guide to sewing. 2014 was a big year for the company, SPO was listed as the 2,084th fastest growing company in the US, and the 35th fastest growing company in the state of Tennessee. I expected the ruler base to have the bigger width from left to right instead of front to back. The opening for the needle base is not quite centered either. Compared to the instruction pics it looks like the base was cut the wrong way but I will try it out and see how it works out. Edited- looks like it is supposed to be longer than wide for this machine despite the picture in the instructions so all is well.
With QCT 6 Pro I am able to quilt around my digitized embroidery designs! I am very pleased!
This rubber cushion came off my sewing machine. I have no idea how it happened. But I was delighted to find a replacement at Sewing Parts Online. The rubber cushion fit perfectly on my machine and was very easy to install.
I got this jelly roll specifically to make the Rainbow Sherbet Zippered Pouch pattern from Great Heron Thread Company. The jelly roll was perfect!
This fabric was a delight to play with... very soft and vibrant colors! The only thing I didn't like was that the manufacturer's info at the selvage edge is very wide, so squeezing every last inch of the print out of a fat quarter was a challenge.

I lost a rubber cushion on my sewing machine (part ##647009002), and I decided to get this cushion just in case (hey, the one got lost, maybe this one would too in the future). It is exactly the right cushion and fits perfectly, too. I don't need it right now, but maybe sometime I will and I'll be glad to have it.
E2E quilting using my own skull design is just what I had in mind.

I purchased 2 of the Sullivan Ironing Centers and put them back to back in my studio area. I added cutting mats and wool ironing mats to add complete versatility. These Ironing Centers sit in the middle of my studio, but I love that I can separate them and collapse the tops, tucking the individual cabinets into corners of the room to make space for other activities.

The Noah's Ark fabric was a big hit to a twins baby shower where the sexes of the babies were not known. The two by two animals were perfect for the door sash highlighted by the green with babies feet. I wish I had a better photo of the Noah's ark sash before adding the extra sash and ribbons. Very happy with my purchase

Sew Steady is a great company to work with. The insert I received was just a little to big in the front of the machine making it difficult to reach comfortably while sewing. I contacted the company and they remade the insert to my specifications. Normally it would just be a standard insert, but my cabinet is over 40 years old. It's perfect. You will be extremely pleased with Sew Steady for their product and their fantastic customer service!

I'm using the Maxilock Lemon Chiffon Swirl on a baby quilt. I think the multicolor thread highlights the colors in the fabrics. I like this polyester thread bc it's strong and doesnt break when I free motion quilt.

My first machine quilting with the 9.5” x 14” dime snap hoop was a success! 48 hoops and it turned out great. The frame was so easy to use. The magnetic hoop was strong to handle a twin size quilt and easy to re-hoop without hand fatigue I highly recommend it.
I was skeptical after watching the video but the arcs are surprisingly easy to turn and there is a fudge factor when fusing them onto a quilt square which comes in handy! Love it. Just started so just one trial square

Ordering End of Bolt Mystery Fabric was a fun option to get my order to the point of free shipping. Having no idea what atrocity I might get and have to figure out what to do with, I was pleasantly surprised to find these two choices in my box. I have a new grand-baby and either or both of these are going to be used to make something for him. I would absolutely order a mystery piece of fabric again for the same reason with the same risk.

Cute fabric, although not as fine a weave as I expected. Still, where else are you going to find such happy pigs in a row? And the fabric was easy to sew.
I love the clear cover stitch foot. I can now see to line up my stitching.
I am so thrilled with my Sew Steady table insert! It arrived just under 3wks. It fits perfectly in my Arrow Gidget 2 portable table around my Bernina 570QE. I plan to use it for retreats and as a backup from my main machine. I couldn't be happier!
Colors perfect for the quilt
I’m happy with the table! Note that on my machine the base has a downward angle slope to it in the back right side so the table sits a bit higher in that one spot. I don’t know if this can be helped. I have other machines that don’t have this and other Sew Steady tables that are completely flush. These tables are great!
My son bought me the HD 6700C sewing machine for my 69th birthday. I was eager to try the decorative stitches. It did not come with an owner's manual. I had to down load it. It was hard doing that from my phone or IPAD. I had just so happen Googled where to get an owner's manual, this company popped up, it was on sale. I immediately ordered it. Unsure if this will be the center of a wall hanging quilt or a smaller sized quilt to snuggle up with but I love it. I have bunch of other coffee themed material that well go perfect with this. 😊

Bought for my memory craft 6650, and I love it. It is great for perfect scant 1/4 Inch seams, achieves accurate and consistent straight stitches, even at higher speed or with varying fabric thickness , no need to switch to zipper foot, and eliminates fabric being pulled in below plate. This is now my main plate and foot. So glad I purchased!
