Cutie Breeze Tabletop Quilting Frame Details

Product Description

It's hard to improve great products, but the Grace Company has done just that with the new Cutie Breeze Tabletop Quilting Frame. Grace heard all of the challenges quilters faced with the original Cutie and simplified the design of the Cutie Breeze. Like its predecessor, this compact frame allows you to do everything a ten or twelve-foot frame can do for a fraction of the room and cost. Designed to work in your space, the Breeze doesn't come with legs; you can set it up on a kitchen counter, a kitchen table, a craft room, or even a picnic table. Weighing in at approximately 40 pounds, you can take the Breeze to retreats and guild meetings. The Breeze Frame doesn't need its own dedicated space like traditional frames; when it's not in use, you can store it under a bed or vertically in a closet. With its zone-to-zone method, the Breeze offers limitless possibilities! If you can imagine it, the Cutie Breeze Tabletop Quilting Frame can help you make it happen! Thousands of dollars cheaper than most options, this frame gets you into frame quilting cheap. (Machine and table not included)

Breeze Dimensions

Dimensions

One of the biggest selling points for Grace's Tabletop Frame is its compact size. Instead of having a dedicated space for quilting like with traditional 8, 10, or 12-foot frames, the Breeze can easily work in any room. The Breeze Frame quickly moves from the table to the counter or a desk, depending on when you want it. To better fit your project and room, the frame even has adjustable rail height and depth. Measuring approximately 52" wide by 40" deep by 23" tall (fully extended), the Breeze is designed to fit your space. Please note the Cutie Legs are NOT compatible with the Breeze.

CROSS COMPATIBLE

Cross Compatible

Grace's Cutie Breeze Tabletop Fabric Frame is compatible with almost any machine. The frame's top plate can accommodate any home machine that's less than 11-1/2" thick and is adjustable to fit sewing machines with up to 19" of throat space. So easily pair this frame with your longarm, midarm, or domestic machine.

Free Motion

Free Motion

With the Cutie's premium dual-track system, free motion quilting has never been easier! Your sewing or quilting machine will effortlessly glide over the fabric in any direction—easily quilt loops, arches, pantographs, straight lines, and others on the Cutie Breeze.

Handles

Newly Designed Handles

One of the biggest critiques left by quilters was the handle position, so Grace has wholly redesigned the carriage and handles to make your hand placement more comfortable. When you first start your quilt, your fabric may hang over the handles or bunch up around them if you have a large project, and that might impede your quilting. Another complaint was for taller people wanting to do stand-up quilting, the handles needed to be higher. With the handles now going over the top of the machine, Grace has fixed those problems for a more relaxing experience. As an added bonus, the handles also have a storage compartment that can hold scissors, pins, and bobbins.

Cutie Breeze Tabletop Fabric Frame Benefits

Cutie Breeze

The Breeze works with almost any home sewing machine. You can use your own or upgrade to a Grace machine.

Lightweight

Designed to be lightweight and portable, this frame fits on top of a table or desk and can easily be stored away. Turn this frame vertically or lay it flat to fit into whatever space you wish to stow it.

Affordable

Literally thousands of dollars cheaper than most full-size frames. The Breeze introduces you to free motion quilting at a fraction of the cost compared to others.

Zone-to-Zone

Create projects of any size using Grace's zone-to-zone method. If you can dream it, the Breeze can help you make it happen.

ZONING

ZONING

The Cutie Breeze Tabletop Fabric Frame allows you to quilt crib to quilt king-size projects with its zoning method. The zoning method means to think about your project as block sections. Quilting in zones or block-sections means that the only limit on your design is your imagination.

STORAGE & ACCESSIBILITY

STORAGE & ACCESSIBILITY

Weighing an estimated 30 pounds (without carriage), you can easily take this frame to classes or guild meetings. When ready to store it away, place it under a bed or vertically in a closet. With all the moving you can do with the Cutie Breeze Frame, it was designed with durability in mind and has additional corner braces and aluminum extrusions to make the structure more sturdy.

Setup

Easy Set-up

One of the most significant improvements on the Cutie Breeze is the setup process. Grace has taken their long, arduous 26-step setup and streamlined it down to 11 steps. This easy-to-assemble frame includes fewer parts and clear instructions, removing any confusion and guesswork during assembly.

Clamps

Cutie Breeze Clamps

For large quilts, you need large clamps, so Grace designed large C clamps to go along the back take-up rail in place of their elastic straps. The Cutie Breeze Clamps are removable. If you use a smaller domestic machine, you may find it easier to quilt with the regular clamps and not use the large C clamps.

My trial top and messy sewing room. 😅 Free motion, no template, using my Pfaff 7570 domestic on it. It works great and I love the flexibility. Ordered some small templates and will play with those. Maybe stencil them on.

Just started practicing and I am already in love. It is so easy to load and use. The only problem I ran into was my cord for the junior QL2000 was too short because right now it's on my sewing table. This I will remedy in time. You won't regret buying the cutie breeze.

I love quilting on this frame! I am new to the quilting aspect of sewing, and this frame gives me the opportunity to "draw" my art on fabric.

I ordered the Cutie Breeze frame with the Babylock JAZZ 2 a month ago. The JAZZ 2 was delivered immediately and the Breeze frame two weeks later. This combo makes longarm quilting affordable and assessible like never before. It is so much fun, and despite my inexperience, I'm progressing beyond my expectations on a daily basis. I am so grateful that someone saw a need and found a way to meet this demand by inventing something so incredible. The folks at Sewing Parts were so helpful by expediting the delivery of my Breeze when I called and I thank you all for your kindness and expertise. I love love love my Cutie Breeze... this is such an awesome product!

It's all set up and ready to go! Easy to assemble and the directions were superb. I set mine up on an adjustable height desk. It's perfect! Now to start quilting!

This little frame is pretty handy. I don’t think the table top size is really right. I should have measured my table first. It’s a lot bigger than I thought. I also bought the Baby Lock Jazz II to go with it, just wish I’d bought a machine that’s made for a quilting frame, but will be using this setup till I can afford another sewing machine. The frame is pretty simple to put together, simple to take apart and put away. Well worth the money.

Set it up the day it arrived and after practicing several days on the enclosed panel, I quilted my first queen sized quilt on the frame. I have a Janome MC6650, and it worked perfectly.

Well gonna take practice for sure. I am used to pinning and my home machine. I did real good with that. I did some practicing. I will be doing more.

Easy setup just follow the instructions. Had no problem putting this together and works flawlessly! Love how the machine glides along as I'm quilting. Will make quilting my projects so much easier. Still getting accustomed to the limited zones but still so much better than pushing all the weight of a large quilt. Very happy with my purchase!

Customer photo review of Cutie Breeze Tabletop Quilting Frame

I bought this frame to use with my Husqvarna Topaz 50 sewing machine. It’s easy to use, the instructions are very thorough, and once you get a good rhythm going it truly is a breeze to use. I love it! Definitely an investment for someone who loves to quilt, but perhaps doesn’t do it professionally. The frame gives you the option to use a regular sewing machine that can do free motion or a Quilting machine with a larger throat. Great buy, great addition to the sewing room! It is quite large, measuring 55” wide, I am using it on a 6’ ft table and it fits perfect there.

Cutie Breeze Tabletop Quilting Frame

I had trouble with it in the beginning, but last night I was able to get it working the way I needed it to work. I had to switch from using my Juki TL-2010Q machine to my Jazz II machine to get it to work. My only problem now is that the system is set for the thot of the Juki and I can't get it set to my Jazz II machine thot. I need to work with it some more to see if I can change that. Otherwise, it is working good.

Cutie Breeze Tabletop Quilting Frame

I am a newer quilter who learned the hard way that my old sewing machine could barely quilt a throw-sized quilt and I REALLY wanted to be able to have more flexibility. After pricing long-arm classes and rental time at my local quilt shop it just made sense to add the Cutie Breeze and Speed Control Box to the new Juki sewing machine I recently purchased. So far I am very pleased and surprised by how easy it is to set-up and get going with beautiful results. The test quilt top that comes with it is amazingly helpful for practicing.

Cutie Breeze Tabletop Quilting Frame

It was very easy to set up. I'm enjoying learning to use it on the practice piece that Grace Company sent. I just purchased a Baby Lock Anthem and they work well together.

Cutie Breeze Tabletop Quilting Frame

I have been playing with it with the training panel kit and having fun with learning where my safe zone is and how to move the panel to a new zone. So far it has met my needs and expectations.

Cutie Breeze Tabletop Quilting Frame

So far, I love it. I’ve only practiced, so far, as a novice free motion quilter. The Cutie Breeze moves so smoothly! I can’t wait to do more.

Cutie Breeze Tabletop Quilting Frame

I love this compact portable machine quilting frame! It fits beautifully in my sewing room and is lightweight, well built and goes together easily! It's perfect for any quilting job! Love it!

Cutie Breeze Tabletop Quilting Frame

It took a little bit to put it together. The instructions were clear and concise, which was great for me. My Brother BQ-2450 was almost too wide for the platform. I had to raise the handle up for it to fit. My other concern is the length of the cord for the pedal for my machine. It isn't long enough when the quilt carriage is to the far right or left. It is the 4.5' length but 6' would have grace. These are issues with my original equipment. The carriage itself is smooth and lovely. It stores larger than I anticipated (handles stand out far). This is on me not the Grace quilt frame.

Cutie Breeze Tabletop Quilting Frame

The motion is really smooth. The only negative point I have is the gray clips on the back are really bulky and get caught easily in my domestic machine. I wish they made smaller ones.

Cutie Breeze Tabletop Quilting Frame

Very easy to put together. I haven’t used it for very long but it seems to be not so complicated but takes practice but I am really liking it. Enjoying it alot!

Cutie Breeze Tabletop Quilting Frame

Big learning curve. Easy to set up, great directions on how to use it. I'm sure to rate it a 5 star once I get better.

Cutie Breeze Tabletop Quilting Frame

Once I got over my initial intimidation and began sewing I was thrilled with the results. So much easier to move the machine over the quilt than moving the whole quilt while sewing. If you're on the fence about it I recommend jumping in with this purchase.

Cutie Breeze Tabletop Quilting Frame

I haven't had a chance to use the frame yet. It was easy to set up and I anticipate it will greatly enhance my quilting projects

Cutie Breeze Tabletop Quilting Frame

I just got it set up and need to learn how to use the tablet and how to set up my frame for quilting my quilts.
